Fair Trade Chocolate.  Can you sniff out the Fair Trade Chocolate sales table today?  Our Abolitionist Pod is once again offering Fair Trade chocolate for sale.  Fair Trade aims to build dignified trading relationships between consumers and producers in developing countries. This involves changing the way that conventional international trade works, so that: producers receive a guaranteed price for their goods, and the security of long-term trading contracts; producers benefit from guaranteed minimum health and safety conditions; producers, their workplace and the environment are not exploited; strong democratic businesses with real participation develop; leadership development with gender equity is fostered ; education and training opportunities for producers, especially women, are actively promoted.  Help us support this worthy cause while enjoying the rich taste of chocolate!

We need volunteers to sign up to work during Sunday School sessions and second service.  There is a sign-up calendar in the nursery with background check forms next to the calendar.  If you would like to help, fill out a form and get it to Elizabeth in the church office at least a week prior to your work time.  See Jeranna Strasman for more information.
